The City of Senatobia is looking to hire a CDL Driver in the Public Works Department. Candidates must have and maintain a valid CDL license. Job duties include operating knuckleboom and sanitation trucks, in a safe and productive manner. Recognize safety hazards (overhead powerlines, etc.) and hidden property. Perform daily walk around inspections of the vehicles (tires, fluid levels, safety equipment, etc.). Reporting all equipment defects to the supervisor. Pickup household and non-household rubbish on weekly routes and transporting rubbish to the dump. This job is primarily in an outside environment, exposed to all types of weather; hot, cold, dry, wet, etc. Must be wiling to work in inclement weather during emergency conditions. Heavy lifting is required. This is a full-time position that requires regular, reliable and punctual attendance.
